I cannot remember since when I was "myself". My first memory is when I was 3 or 4.

I was drawing even then. The ground-drawn image of the US dragonfly army plane flew around the just ended korean war, I thought to myself ...I pretty damn draw well.

In elementary school I was good in studies as well as drawing. I was quite famous for winning countless trophies from drawing contests and was always praised as the good

boy who draws so well. It was the same in junior high school , however after a while I wasn't able to follow the class for attending too many art contests, and spending way too much time in the art studio.

The first time of my life I went to an academy for high school adminstration(In those days not there were

admission tests for junior-high and high schools as well)

Nevertheless the time I spent then became a great remedy for me. I was lucky enough to meet my eternal best friend and also draw a 114page comic called "Spring in my heart". I mean these were never attainable if I had went to highschool immediately!

Wait wait, what am I talking about? This will never end when told like this.

Anyhow, drawing, girls and after a cigarette filled highschool art class life I went  to university, art major of course and ruthless wandering......no drawing were drawn these days.

those were regretful times though I was able to reconstruct myself again.

And then becoming a highschool art teacher. Those were happy days. The students loved me and so did I. We made drawings at the school playground with water from kettles, snow fights when it snowed, paper airplanes when it was clear...

When doing class projects, we made hanging tapestries, temples, Ufos, bridges, houses and so much more...It was all unforgettable.

I actually gave up because I was so happy. I was happy not even drawing anything and that scared me.

So I drew mosquito back legs in an illust-company.

And one day the Hankyoreh newspaper was established by a part of the democracy movement. I recollected my talents of my junior high-comic drawing skills and became a column cartoonist.
